Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual lessons across multiple subjects
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and school partners
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, assessments) for effective instruction
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance pedagogical techniques and subject expertise
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate student achievements transparently
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 students
- Proven expertise in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies)
- Proficiency in online tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Nebraska teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
