Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via video conferencing platforms.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study guides tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance metrics.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to upload materials and track assignments.
- Communicate effectively with parents and students to provide constructive feedback and support.
- Stay updated on curriculum changes and subject matter to ensure high-quality instruction.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning abilities and cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the subject matter or a related field is preferred; teaching certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students in K-12 or higher education.
- Strong command of English and subject-specific knowledge (Math, Science, English, History, etc.).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace.
- Proficiency with basic computer software and video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students quickly.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
