What You'll Do:
As a Remote Online Tutor, you will facilitate one-on-one learning sessions using our proprietary digital classroom platform. You will adapt to each student's unique learning style, ensuring they build confidence and master their coursework.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Engaging Sessions: Deliver high-quality, interactive 1-on-1 tutoring sessions via video conferencing tools.
- Curriculum Adaptation: Develop and customize lesson plans that align with state standards and individual student needs.
- Student Progress Tracking: Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
- Platform Proficiency: Utilize our Learning Management System (LMS) to assign homework, track attendance, and upload session notes.
- Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with students and the support team to resolve technical or academic issues promptly.
- Assessment: Administer practice tests and quizzes to evaluate student comprehension and readiness.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or teaching certification is a plus.
- Expertise: Strong command of the subject matter (Math, Science, English, History, etc.).
- Reliability: Must have a stable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient, encouraging demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable navigating web-based software and virtual classroom environments.
- Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during peak hours (evenings and weekends).
