Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Tennessee state standards and individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, interactive quizzes) to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate student milestones to the education team
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine tutoring materials and methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, English, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Tennessee teaching certification preferred but not required for non-certified subject experts
- Proven experience in online tutoring or virtual classroom environments
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proficiency in video conferencing tools and educational technology
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple student schedules
- Background check and child safety certification required
