Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with PA state standards and student goals
- Track student progress through our digital platform and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and school liaisons regarding student development
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create engaging, effective learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance tutoring methodologies and subject expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- PA teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- Minimum 2 years tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with diverse learners
- Availability for evening and weekend sessions (20+ hours/week)
- Clear background check and professional references
