Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-on-1 Online Sessions: Deliver engaging and interactive virtual lessons via Zoom or our proprietary learning platform.
- Curriculum Development: Create customized lesson plans and study guides tailored to each student's specific learning style and academic goals.
- Student Assessment: Regularly evaluate student progress through quizzes, assignments, and mock exams to track improvement.
- Parent Communication: Provide constructive feedback and regular progress reports to parents/guardians to ensure transparency.
- Homework Support: Guide students through their school assignments while encouraging independent problem-solving skills.
- Virtual Classroom Management: Maintain a professional, encouraging, and distraction-free virtual environment to maximize learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required; Master’s degree or teaching certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students (K-12 or Higher Education).
- Technical Proficiency: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace. Familiarity with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and educational software is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and concisely.
- Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.
- Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).
