Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our proprietary platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with PA state standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents and school partners
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, assessment platforms) to enhance learning
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with educational methodologies and curriculum updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- PA teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Minimum 2 years of K-12 classroom or tutoring experience
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and educational software
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage students virtually
- Background check and clearances compliant with PA education requirements
