Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions
- Customize lesson plans based on student learning styles and goals
- Track student progress using our digital dashboard
- Provide detailed session reports and feedback to parents
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, PSSA)
- Collaborate with academic advisors on student development plans
- Maintain accurate session documentation and scheduling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- PA state teaching certification preferred
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in K-12 curriculum (STEM or ELA focus)
- Proficiency with virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
- Excellent communication and technology skills
- Background check clearance required
- Philadelphia residency preferred
