Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions tailored to each student's specific learning style and pace.
- Prepare customized lesson plans, interactive assignments, and study guides to reinforce curriculum concepts.
- Provide constructive, timely feedback on student assignments and assessments to track progress.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and communicate progress reports to parents or guardians.
- Utilize our proprietary Learning Management System (LMS) effectively to deliver engaging and effective content.
- Stay updated on the latest educational methodologies and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve course materials and tutoring techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, the subject you wish to tutor, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Previous experience in online tutoring, teaching, or mentoring is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts in simple, understandable terms.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from distractions.
- Proficiency in using virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) and learning management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students quickly.
- Must be located in or willing to work within the United States (Philadelphia, PA focus).
