Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual lessons tailored to student needs
- Develop customized learning plans using our interactive digital curriculum
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents/guardians
- Utilize multimedia tools to create dynamic, interactive learning experiences
- Collaborate with academic team to refine teaching methodologies
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience
- Expertise in at least one subject area (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and cultural competency
- Portland residency preferred (not required for remote work)
- State teaching certification a plus
