Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning goals and school curricula
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies
- Utilize multimedia tools to create engaging, interactive learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate student milestones
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field
- 1+ years of formal tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students
- Valid Oregon teaching certification or equivalent preferred
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
