Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, quizzes, simulations) to enhance engagement
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps and adjust teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation in our LMS
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- State teaching certification or equivalent credential
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- High-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Passion for education and commitment to student success
- Availability for weekday/evening sessions (Pacific Time)
