Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one or small group virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom or similar platforms.
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to individual student learning styles and specific curriculum needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous academic growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and goals.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and safe learning environment during all remote sessions.
- Collaborate with the academic team to improve tutoring resources and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (or equivalent teaching experience).
- Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students (remote or in-person).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient, encouraging demeanor.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
- Familiarity with online learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
