Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions across K-12 subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and school administrators
- Utilize our digital platform (LMS) for scheduling, resource sharing, and progress tracking
- Collaborate with tutors and educational specialists to enhance teaching methodologies
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, LMS platforms)
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- State teaching certification (OR or other US state) or equivalent credentials
- Background check and clearances compliant with federal and Oregon regulations
- Availability for evening and weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
