Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons across core subjects (Math, Science, English)
- Adapt teaching strategies to individual student learning styles and academic goals
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic coordinators
- Utilize our proprietary digital platform for interactive content delivery
- Prepare customized lesson plans aligned with NC state curriculum standards
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student achievements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of K-12 teaching or tutoring experience
- Strong proficiency in video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital whiteboards
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport with students and families
- NC teaching certification or equivalent tutoring credentials
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Availability for weekday evening and weekend sessions
- Background check and child safety certification required
