Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards (NC Standards)
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents
- Utilize multimedia resources to create dynamic learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
- Collaborate with academic team on student intervention strategies
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring/teaching experience (virtual preferred)
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, or History)
- Strong proficiency with video conferencing and digital teaching tools
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- North Carolina teaching certification (preferred but not required)
