Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with NC state standards and student learning goals
- Monitor student progress through our digital platform and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Utilize interactive tools (whiteboards, simulations, multimedia) to enhance virtual learning
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Strong familiarity with NC K-12 curriculum standards and testing formats
- Exceptional communication and digital literacy skills
- Patience, creativity, and ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
