Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Collaborate with parents and academic advisors to support student success
- Utilize digital tools (interactive whiteboards, screen sharing, etc.) to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports in our student management system
- Stay updated on curriculum developments and best practices in online education
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience (remote experience a plus)
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, Foreign Languages)
- Proficiency with video conferencing platforms and digital learning tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with diverse student demographics
- North Carolina teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
