Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, or test prep
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Track student progress using our proprietary analytics dashboard and provide regular feedback
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, shared documents) for engaging sessions
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and growth areas
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance tutoring methodologies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 or college level)
- Proficiency in digital tutoring platforms and video conferencing tools
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles
- North Carolina teaching certification (preferred but not required)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Ability to work evenings and weekends based on student availability
