Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Utilize digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and multimedia resources for interactive learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and academic advisors
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (virtual experience highly valued)
- Expertise in at least one core subject area: Mathematics, Science, English, or Test Prep
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and educational technology platforms
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- California teaching certification or equivalent credential (where applicable)
- Background check clearance and reliable home internet connection
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
