Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions for K-12 students in various subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.).
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans tailored to individual student learning styles and academic goals.
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and interactive feedback sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding progress.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating virtual classroom environment.
- Stay updated with current curriculum standards and educational best practices to provide high-quality instruction.
- Utilize educational technology platforms effectively to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates).
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably online.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain difficult concepts clearly.
- High-speed, reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Passion for education and a patient, encouraging demeanor.
