Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions
- Customize lesson plans based on student learning styles and goals
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Collaborate with parents and EduConnect coordinators
- Utilize interactive digital tools for effective remote instruction
- Prepare students for standardized tests and subject mastery
- Maintain accurate session documentation and feedback logs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- CA teaching credential or equivalent tutoring certification
- 2+ years of virtual or in-person tutoring experience
- Expertise in K-12 Math, Science, English, or SAT/ACT prep
- Strong technology skills (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Excellent communication and motivational abilities
- Background check clearance and fingerprinting
- Resident of Sacramento metropolitan area
