Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with California state standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, quizzes) for engaging lessons
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-specific field (Master's preferred)
- CA teaching credential or equivalent tutoring certification
- 2+ years experience with virtual education platforms
- Expertise in at least two core subjects (Grades 6-12)
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify student needs
- Proficiency with Zoom, Google Classroom, and adaptive learning software
- Background check and TB clearance required
