Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, or Social Studies
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with California curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Utilize interactive digital tools (Zoom, Khan Academy, etc.) for engaging lessons
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and academic advisors
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- CA teaching credential or equivalent tutoring certification
- 2+ years experience with K-12 students in virtual or classroom settings
- Proficiency with online tutoring platforms and digital learning tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Background check and fingerprint clearance
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
