Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California State Standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents/educators
- Utilize interactive digital tools (Zoom, interactive whiteboards) for dynamic sessions
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address specific learning gaps
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Participate in monthly training on pedagogical techniques and subject updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- CA Teaching Credential or equivalent tutoring certification
- 2+ years of 1-on-1 tutoring experience with K-12 students
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms and digital assessment tools
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core academic areas
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
