Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with state standards and student goals
- Track student progress through our digital platform and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize interactive tools (whiteboards, simulations, digital assessments) to enhance engagement
- Communicate effectively with parents and students to foster academic confidence
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum development initiatives
- Maintain accurate session logs and student documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Texas teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- 2+ years of online or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural responsiveness
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Background check clearance required
