Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in K-12 subjects and test prep
- Create customized lesson plans aligned with Texas state curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Utilize our interactive digital platform to deliver engaging, effective lessons
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student learning gaps
- Maintain accurate session records and attendance documentation
- Participate in quarterly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM field, or related subject (Master's preferred)
- Texas teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Availability for weekday evening and weekend sessions
- Background check and fingerprinting clearance
- Experience with diverse learning styles and special needs students
