Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas state standards and individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and students
- Utilize EduConnect's digital platform for session scheduling, resource sharing, and progress tracking
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to enhance tutoring materials and methodologies
- Maintain accurate session logs and student achievement records
- Participate in ongoing training on pedagogical best practices and virtual engagement techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Texas state teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose learning gaps and implement solutions
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
