Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions tailored to each student's specific needs and learning style.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, study guides, and practice materials aligned with curriculum standards.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous academic improvement.
- Utilize virtual whiteboards and digital tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom) to enhance the learning experience and maintain high levels of engagement.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance, goals, and upcoming milestones.
- Adapt teaching methods and pacing to accommodate different learning speeds and educational backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (current students with relevant experience may be considered).
- Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students in K-12 or higher education.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from distractions.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as per student demand.
