Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group virtual tutoring sessions for K-12 and adult learners.
- Develop customized lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment through video conferencing tools.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents to ensure continuous improvement.
- Utilize digital tools and our learning management system to deliver content effectively.
- Adapt teaching methodologies to bridge gaps in understanding for diverse student backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Must be currently residing in San Antonio, TX (Remote role requires local availability for potential meetups, though work is online).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (or equivalent teaching/tutoring experience).
- Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar, spelling, and communication skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learning needs and personalities.
- Proficiency with basic computer software and video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
