Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions via video conferencing and our virtual learning platform.
- Develop and customize lesson plans that address specific learning gaps and align with educational standards.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive virtual learning environment that motivates students to achieve their goals.
- Utilize various multimedia resources to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Participate in periodic training webinars and professional development sessions to stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, the subject you wish to tutor, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and currently reside in San Diego, California.
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students of various ages.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Demonstrated ability to use technology for educational purposes.
