Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our proprietary learning platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, multimedia resources) to enhance learning outcomes
- Collaborate with our curriculum team to refine teaching methodologies and content
- Maintain accurate session logs and progress documentation in our student management system
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and peer training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience with proven student achievement results
- Expertise in at least two core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Proficiency with virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards)
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify learning gaps and implement targeted interventions
- Excellent communication abilities with students, parents, and academic stakeholders
- CA teaching certification or equivalent academic credentials
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends (Pacific Time)
