Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1:1 and small group online tutoring sessions in core academic subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Utilize virtual tools (Zoom, interactive whiteboards, etc.) to create dynamic learning environments
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Collaborate with parents and academic advisors to address learning challenges
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate student achievements
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance teaching methodologies and subject expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience (K-12 focus)
- Proficiency in online tutoring platforms and digital educational tools
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
- CA teaching certification highly valued
- Subject matter expertise in Math, Science, English, or Foreign Languages
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
