Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Create customized lesson plans aligned with CA state standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback to parents
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, assessments) to enhance engagement
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Participate in quarterly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM field, or related subject (Master's preferred)
- CA teaching credential or equivalent certification (e.g., CRLA)
- 2+ years of online tutoring or virtual classroom experience
- Expertise in at least two core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and educational software
- Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Background check and TB clearance required
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
