Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our proprietary platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California state standards and student goals
- Track student progress through weekly assessments and detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and students regarding academic milestones
- Utilize interactive whiteboards, screen sharing, and digital resources for dynamic sessions
- Maintain accurate session logs and administrative documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-specific field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring or teaching experience with proven results
- CA teaching credential or equivalent subject matter expertise
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and educational technology
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required
- Availability during weekday afternoons and weekends (Pacific Time)
- Specialization in at least one core subject: Math, Science, English, or Foreign Language
