Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Track student progress using our proprietary learning management system
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops and team meetings
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
- Utilize interactive digital tools to enhance remote learning experiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM field, or related subject (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of formal tutoring or teaching experience
- CA teaching credential or equivalent certification (strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required
- Availability for weekday evening and weekend sessions
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 academic areas
