Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in STEM, humanities, or test prep
- Customize lesson plans using diagnostic assessments and learning style analysis
- Track student progress through our digital platform and provide actionable feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Participate in quarterly tutor training and curriculum updates
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address complex learning challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-specific field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of online or in-person tutoring experience
- Proven expertise in K-12 curriculum and standardized test preparation
- Exceptional communication skills and tech proficiency (Zoom, Google Suite, etc.)
- Washington State teaching certification or equivalent credential
- Background check clearance and reliable home office setup
- Ability to work evenings/weekends based on student availability
