Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans based on individual student learning styles and academic goals
- Track and document student progress using our proprietary assessment tools
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies
- Maintain accurate session records and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 students
- Expertise in core subjects (Math, Science, English, or SAT/ACT prep)
- Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Washington State teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
