Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual instruction via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Seattle Public Schools standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, AP exams)
- Communicate effectively with parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools to create engaging learning materials
- Participate in ongoing tutor training and curriculum updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- WA State teaching certification preferred
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Background check and TB clearance required
- Must reside in Washington State
