Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual learning goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents, educational software) for interactive learning
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance tutoring methodologies
- Maintain accurate session logs and student documentation in our tutoring management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, History)
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and digital educational platforms
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students
- Washington State teaching certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple students
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
