Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Washington State academic standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents/guardians
- Utilize digital tools (virtual whiteboards, screen sharing) for interactive learning
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student learning gaps
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field
- 2+ years of teaching/tutoring experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Washington State teaching certification or equivalent academic credentials
- Proficiency in video conferencing tools and digital teaching platforms
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core academic areas
