Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions tailored to the specific learning style and needs of each student.
- Utilize our proprietary digital whiteboard and video conferencing tools to deliver interactive lessons and visualize complex concepts.
- Prepare customized lesson plans, practice assignments, and quizzes aligned with state standards and curriculum.
- Track student progress through our learning management system and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and punctuality in all virtual interactions.
- Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or homeschooling is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain difficult concepts simply and effectively.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Must reside within the United States (Seattle, WA area preferred).
