Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with CA state standards and individual learning goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback to parents
- Utilize multimedia resources to create engaging, dynamic learning experiences
- Collaborate with academic advisors to optimize student intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress tracking records
- Participate in ongoing training for emerging educational technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-specific field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of proven tutoring or teaching experience (remote experience required)
- CA teaching certification or equivalent subject matter expertise
- Exceptional digital literacy with video conferencing and LMS platforms
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify learning gaps and adapt teaching methods
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
