Responsibilities
- Conduct Live Sessions: Deliver engaging, one-on-one or small group virtual lessons using Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary learning platform.
- Personalized Learning: Develop customized lesson plans and study schedules tailored to each student's specific academic goals and learning style.
- Assessment & Feedback: Regularly evaluate student progress through quizzes, tests, and interactive feedback sessions to ensure mastery of concepts.
- Parent Communication: Maintain professional communication channels with parents/guardians to provide progress updates and discuss student performance.
- Curriculum Support: Assist students with homework, test preparation, and exam strategies to boost confidence and academic scores.
- Technical Proficiency: Ensure a seamless online learning experience by troubleshooting technical issues and managing digital classroom environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field is preferred; current teaching certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students in K-12 or higher education is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection and be proficient with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams) and LMS platforms.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
- Reliability: Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to adhere to scheduled session times consistently.
- Location: Must reside within the United States and be willing to work the required hours.
