Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Assess student learning needs and customize lesson plans for individual academic goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and school partners
- Utilize our interactive platform (Zoom, Google Classroom) for seamless virtual instruction
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to refine teaching strategies and materials
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (virtual experience highly valued)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core curriculum areas
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and digital learning platforms
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles
- State teaching certification or equivalent credentials (Louisiana preferred)
- Background check clearance and reliable high-speed internet connection
