Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one online tutoring sessions tailored to individual student learning styles and needs.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study guides for students preparing for exams, homework help, or skill reinforcement.
- Utilize various digital whiteboards and educational software to enhance the virtual learning experience.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement and academic success.
- Maintain professional communication with students and parents to build trust and rapport.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning abilities and paces.
- Participate in periodic training and webinars to stay updated on educational best practices and platform updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (experience without a degree is considered).
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students (K-12 or Higher Education).
- Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar and writing skills.
- Must have a stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Proficiency in using video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and online learning platforms.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently without direct supervision.
