Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions to students via Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary LMS.
- Develop and customize lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and academic requirements.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and periodic evaluations to ensure mastery of concepts.
- Provide constructive feedback and motivational support to help students overcome academic challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and session notes within the learning management system.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and behavioral goals.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and adapt teaching methods to meet changing educational demands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Mathematics, Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong command of English grammar and vocabulary, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions.
- Ability to pass a background check and adhere to strict child safety policies.
- Proficiency with digital tools such as Zoom, Google Classroom, or Microsoft Teams.
