Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and effective one-on-one or small group virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary LMS.
- Design and implement customized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style, pace, and academic goals.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies dynamically during sessions.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student performance and behavioral progress.
- Prepare students for standardized tests, coursework exams, and advanced placement with a focus on building confidence.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, session notes, and grades within the learning management system.
- Collaborate with our curriculum team to improve teaching materials and student engagement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field is required.
- Valid state teaching certification (or equivalent experience) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in remote teaching, tutoring, or mentoring (1+ years preferred).
- Strong command of English grammar and exceptional verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using technology, specifically Zoom, Google Classroom, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with high time management and organizational skills.
