Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, or SAT/ACT Prep
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California State Standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through our LMS platform and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to enhance tutoring materials and methodologies
- Maintain accurate session documentation and adhere to company data security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring experience with proven student achievement results
- CA teaching certification or equivalent subject-matter expertise
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing student challenges and implementing solutions
- Availability for evening and weekend sessions (Pacific Time Zone)
