Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our secure video platform
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with state curriculum standards and student goals
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, quizzes) to enhance comprehension
- Track and report student progress using our learning management system
- Collaborate with parents and EduConnect coordinators to ensure academic growth
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience (virtual experience a plus)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core academic areas
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and educational technology
- North Carolina teaching certification (or eligible for reciprocity)
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
